Free digitizing?

Yes!! that's right, we offer all of our new customers a chance to know us before starting business with us. An absolutely free trial is offered, order now and get your artwork digitized for nothing.

Am I eligible for the free trial offer?

You are eligible for the free 10,000 trial stitches if you are in the embroidery and/or promotional apparel businesses.

When will I get my design back?

Within 24 hours, please be sure you put in all relevant information for your design when you place an order, it saves time. If we find that your order lacks the necessary information or that your artwork is not suitable for digitizing, we will get back to you by phone or email.

Are there any hidden charges?

No! We do not have any hidden costs or charges.

Will I be charged?

We offer Free Digitizing and you will not be charged at all if your design has 10,000 or less stitches. If your design exceeds 10,000 stitches you will only be charged for the extra stitches.

ORDERS AND TRIALS
How do I take advantage of the free trial?

Pease give us a call at our toll free number and we will tell you if you qualify for the free trial. Then you can send us your design and we will return the trial offer within 24 hours.

How do I place an order?

Please e-mail us at orders@digitizingexpress.com with your artwork attached and place the following information in the body of the e-mail:

  1. Size (if you know the preferred size or we can determine the best size for you)
  2. Garment (polos, sweatshirts, caps, etc.)
  3. Placement (left chest, front, back, etc.)
  4. Fabric (cotton, nylon, canvas, etc.)
  5. Color Instructions
  6. Special instructions (applique, puff, etc.)

Please ensure all artwork is sent in JPG or PDF format.
If you'd like to fax your order, you may do so at 877-861-4282. Be aware that faxed images are often not clear enough to be digitized.

How do I request an estimate?

The same way you place an order. See above. We can provide you with same day quotes if you request it.

SUBMITTING FILES
Do I need to submit professional artwork?

As with every part of the digitizing process, the better the artwork, the better the final product. All we really need is a relatively clear image with the color separations specified. Also, let us know if you want any white background filled in or open.

Can you cope with rough artwork or a garment to copy?

No, we do not accept rough artwork but a garment is acceptable and you can mail the garment to: Digitizing Express, Inc. 3827 47th Ave South, Mpls, MN 55406 or you can scan your garment and email us a picture as another option to mailing us the garment.

How do I know if my artwork is okay?

Once you have submitted your artwork, your artwork will be thoroughly checked and processed by our staff. If there are any problems with the artwork we will notify you by email or phone and let you know if there are any problems.

What is the most important Information that I need to send along with the Artwork?
  1. Size (if you know the preferred size or we can determine the best size for you)
  2. Garment (polos, sweatshirts, caps, etc.)
  3. Placement (left chest, front, back, etc.)
  4. Fabric (cotton, nylon, canvas, etc.)
  5. Color Instructions

What is your turnaround time? When will I get my digitized file back?

If you submit your order by 5PM with clear artwork and proper instructions we will return your file by the next morning in the AM.

FILE FORMATS AND TYPES
Which type of artwork format is acceptable?

We accept the following file formats: .eps , .ai, .jpg (preferred) ,.pdf (preferred), .tif, .gif, .bmp, .pcx, .png, .dxf, .emf, .wmf, .cdr, .psd

Do you accept vector format artwork?

Yes, we accept vector format artwork such as .cdr, .ai, .eps, .wmf, etc.

What embroidery formats do you offer?

We can offer you all major formats. We currently offer your designs in Tajima, Melco Exp., Melco CND, Barudan, Brother, ZSK/Zangs, and PES formats, and many others.

How do you ensure quality?

Our digitized files are designed by professionals who have been digitizing for over 15 years and are made to meet your exact requirements. We sew out each digitized file to ensure top-notch quality and smooth production before we send the file to you. We will also include a scan of our sew out in the same email containing your file.

DOWNLOADING MY FILES
How do I know my digitized file is ready?

It will show up in the inbox of the email address you provide for us.

Can I use the digitized file on any fabric?

We digitize a design with the specified fabric in mind. The fabric will dictate the type of underlay, push-and-pull compensation and density that the digitizer must address in creating the design. If the design is going on a multitude of fabrics please let us know in advance.

Can I buy a design that someone else ordered before?

No, we cannot sell you any design ordered by someone else.

Do you keep backups of client’s files?

Yes, we keep our customers digitized files archived for many years. If at some future date you lose track of them, you can always contact us and we will resend them to you. This is an automatic service that very few of our competitors offer.

PRICING AND PAYMENT
How much do you charge for digitizing?

We charge by the stitch count but for larger volume of orders your price goes down significantly. Please call us for FREE guaranteed quotes before you order.

How much do you charge for editing?

We will edit the file for FREE until you are absolutely satisfied. The only exception is if you change the artwork in which case there is a $25 edit fee.

How do I pay?

When we set up your account we require that you provide us with a credit card. We accept all major credit cards. If you would like to be set up on our invoicing system, you can go to our web site and fill out a credit application. After we receive your application we can put you on credit terms of 15 or 30 days.
We do not charge your card until after you have received the design and are satisfied with our workmanship.
